Marsh Broker Jason Sandler Recognized as a 2020 Specialty Power Broker
Jason Sandler, Vice President, Marsh
Jason Sandler, a vice president at Marsh, has developed a penchant for explaining intangible asset risks to his clients, from which 90% of the American economy is now composed.
“These risks are complicated and difficult to assess, and thus have long been largely uninsurable, but relate to some of the most vital assets of many of our clients. In the beginning of 2018, I set out to create a better IP insurance product,” Sandler said in his Power Broker® application.
Donald Readlinger, partner with Pepper Hamilton LLP, said that Sandler was able to assist in two attempted transactions this year, one of which they bound.
Readlinger said Sandler’s customer service skills were excellent and he was impressed with his ability to answer at all hours on time sensitive issues. He also complimented Sandler’s knowledge of his business in the legal sphere, and said they were on the same page with negotiating policy language.
Sandler is admitted to the bar in New York State, adding to his abilities in his insurance space.
Natalie Hill, Manager of Global Risk Management with Levi Strauss & Co, explained that she wound up going with an IP policy because of Sandler and his expertise in the area.
Hill explained that she previously had a “patent troll” policy but that she was not satisfied with it and had doubts about the coverage. Hill also noted that Sandler’s customer service skills are “truly excellent” and that he was able to expertly navigate the east coast/west coast time difference, a huge plus for her.
