Aon Broker Jill Jeske Recognized as a 2022 Workers’ Comp Power Broker
Jill Jeske, Vice President, National Casualty Broker, Aon
When a large, multi-state auto dealer outgrew its captive, Jill Jeske stepped in to help the company identify self-insurance opportunities.
“She actually took the time to go through a couple of states where we could be self-insured, and weren’t, and identified what those opportunities and processes would look like and why it would be beneficial to us,” the head of insurance at the company said.
All in all, Jeske’s work kept the enterprise’s workers’ comp deductible at a cool $1 million and she enhanced the coverage by removing anti-stacking and communicable disease endorsements.
“She’s super attentive; very, very responsive; and is always the right person to go to,” the client said.
Jeske also earned praise from a food producer supplier client for her work marketing its program to create competition between carriers. The company hadn’t marketed its program in many years, and Jeske found she was able to reduce its rates by 23%.
One reason Jeske was able to market the program so successfully is her knowledge of the workers’ compensation and general liability insurance spaces. Having worked as both a broker and an underwriter, she knows how to best advocate for her clients.
“It certainly got us better rates and it got us better terms and conditions,” the client said. “I think we really outperformed the market.”
