Marsh Broker Geoffrey Mills Recognized as a 2020 Specialty Power Broker
Geoffrey Mills, Product Recall Practice Leader, Marsh
Geoffrey Mills, product recall practice leader with Marsh, has developed extensive expertise in any food and beverage company’s worst case scenario — product contamination and subsequent recall.
However, his knowledge has served as a conduit for a variety of heavy hitters to gain peace of mind.
Scott Davis, of Dairy Farmers of America Inc., called Mills’ work “tremendous,” noting that Mills handles their product recall and contamination insurance, which they consider to be one of their most important areas of risk management.
Carlos Dezayas, of the Kraft Heinz Company, echoed Davis, explaining that Mills is instrumental to their product recall and quality assurance programs.
Dezayas said further that Mills is “always accessible and always responsive,” adding that his appreciation for that quality grows as he continues to work with him.
Mills’ client philosophy “to make sure they have the best available program at a competitive price, but also to do so with as little drama as possible” appears to resonate with clients in this space, who appreciate keeping things drama-free.
“I have been fortunate to cofound and run the product recall specialty practices for the 2 largest broking firms. In this capacity I have worked with many of the world’s largest companies, particularly in the food and beverage industries,” Mills said in his Power Broker® application.
