Lockton Companies Broker Fernando Silva Recognized as a 2022 M&A Power Broker
Fernando Silva, Vice President Lockton Companies
For Fernando Silva, vice president, Lockton, understanding how his clients view risk management is a vital component of offering solid client service.
While some of Silva’s clients have a very traditional approach to risk management, others don’t see risk transfer and claims handling as critical and may focus more on loss prevention and governance.
Regardless of a client’s approach, Silva strives to understand each particular client to provide different risk financing approaches that work for them.
“Fernando is very savvy and has a high-touch approach – he is incredible at anticipating the needs of his clients and moving quickly to address them in a proactive manner,” said Henry Rogano, investment analyst at Meteora Capital.
“He has a multi-faceted approach to his services and aims to maximize value by integrating himself in the businesses of his clients. In a way, Fernando acts like a business development manager, making helpful suggestions to our strategy, introducing us to the right contacts and, of course, providing top-notch insurance products along the way.”
Silva’s industry knowledge of his clients’ business is his favorite part of his work. As such, he endeavors to understand his client’s business well enough to provide value.
With a Master’s degree in Finance, Silva is currently working on a CAIA designation, a top professional designation in the world of alternative asset management.
