Gallagher Broker Anthony Baratta Recognized as a 2025 Entertainment Power Broker
Anthony “Tony” Baratta, Area Senior Vice President, Gallagher
When Kelli Kaye, producer for Sapphire Films, was filming halfway across the world in Thailand, the cast van was struck by a drunk driver, leaving the van driver with a broken leg and an actress requiring stitches on her upper lip.
Kaye’s first call in the middle of the night was to Anthony “Tony” Baratta, who calmed her nerves and walked her through a very stressful situation.
“I had no idea how to deal with the situation, not just on an insurance level but with the actual event itself,” she said. “Not only did Tony guide me in making sure I collected all the documents needed to help me process everything through insurance later; he provided moral support.”
No matter what the size of the project, from a small sizzle reel to a major motion picture, Baratta’s goal is to provide the highest level of service possible.
Another client, Howard Davine of wiip Productions, calls Baratta his “go-to” resource for all things insurance.
He said Baratta helped his firm secure insurance for a recent venture involving artificial intelligence. Although this is a rapidly evolving technology with many uncertainties, Baratta secured the appropriate insurance.
“By getting into the details of our business, Tony helped us achieve the most cost-effective and appropriate coverage,” Davine said.
