Alliant Broker Amy Clements Recognized as a 2020 Specialty Power Broker
Amy Clements, Marketing Manager, Alliant Insurance Services
Amy Clements, marketing manager with Alliant Insurance Services, is an expert in community management, and in the spectum of coverage needs of planned communities of all sizes.
Nominator Lori Long, First VP at Alliant, noted that in addition to serving on the Board of Directors of a national educational association, Clements is “not content to passively go along with the status quo” and “has placed herself in positions where she can find solutions for the issues and problems facing her clients and her industry.”
In the past, Alliant enjoyed a good relationship with a 46-unit association in Washington State that had moved on to another broker. Clements won back the business by deftly managing a widespread water loss issue, identifying the cause and in the process, rounding out the insured’s insurance package with higher GL and D&O limits.
Clements acts as a member of the Legislative Action Committee that monitors state legislature and works with officials as advocates for community association issues.
Jessica Jones with Association Services Incorporated said she’s worked with Clements for over a decade, and they have developed an excellent working relationship.
Jones praised Clements for her responsiveness and her ability to explain coverage issues in simple terms that she can understand as someone outside of the insurance industry.
Due to Clements skill in this regard, Jones stated that her company has had Clements speak at its events several times.
