EPIC Insurance Brokers  Announces Additions to Team

Traci Marquez, risk management team, EPIC

EPIC Insurance Brokers and Consultants announced the addition of Traci Marquez to its risk management team, as well as bringing on John Prentis and Larry Bowlus to the executive risk and cyber practice.

In her role, Marquez will be responsible for managing and assessing various risk business developments, using both data analytics and project management skills to best serve EPIC’s clients. She joins EPIC from a national broker where she worked for 14 years.

“We are delighted to welcome Traci to EPIC,” said Scott Davis, president of EPIC’s national risk management and specialty practices.

“Her ability to adeptly service large, risk management accounts through cost containment strategies will be of immediate benefit to our clients. She will work with both our IMPACT and risk management teams on a national basis.”

In their roles within the executive risk and cyber practice, Prentis and Bowlus will be responsible for focusing on “large public, technology and financial institution executive liability coverages.”

Prentis most recently served as the co-lead of Aon’s financial services group in San Francisco. Prior to joining EPIC, Bowlus worked with Aon as senior vice president and team leader within the same group.

Carisk Partners Hires Neil Lentine in Executive Position

Carisk Partners announced the appointment of Neil Lentine as president of ancillary and specialty services.

In this role, Lentine will oversee the growth and implementation of Carisk’s surgical implant management, imaging and intelligent clearinghouse programs.

Lentine brings over 30 years of experience, particularly in casualty and disability insurance and third-party administration, to his new role with Carisk.

He’s spent the last 20 years working with Broadspire Services in a number of roles, including president of U.S. operations, chief operating officer and senior vice president of client services.

Liberty Mutual Announces Promotion of Wesley Hyatt to Chief Client Officer

Liberty Mutual Insurance announced the promotion of Wesley Hyatt as the chief client officer of its Global Risk Solutions (GRS) division.

In this role, Hyatt will be leading the client executive team, working with clients and brokers to identify critical risks and presenting the benefits of the global products, services and capabilities that Liberty Mutual offers.

Additionally, she will be responsible for overseeing the U.S. client service team.

Prior to her promotion, Hyatt served as Liberty Mutual’s senior vice president of workers’ compensation claims.

Strategic Risk Solutions Brings on Anna Pereira

Strategic Risk Solutions (SRS) hired Anna Pereira as senior vice president of insurance-linked securities (ILS).

In this newly created role, Pereira will oversee the ongoing expansion of SRS in both the ILS and fund administration sectors.

Pereira brings over 25 years of industry experience, particularly in insurance, reinsurance, alternative risk transfer and Bermuda capital markets, to her appointment with SRS.

She previously served as the director and co-founder of MANA Consulting.

“We’re so pleased that someone of Anna’s caliber and experience will be joining us,” said Jonathan Reiss, managing director of SRS.
