Catastrophic workplace injuries require an approach that treats the whole person. An injured worker will obviously need medical care to get better, but behavioral health support and making sure they have a strong support system can be just as important as medical attention.

At Paradigm, catastrophic care is the core of their business. They’re looking to expand their focus to treat not just catastrophic cases but a wider sphere of workplace injuries.

The company’s CEO, John Watts, sat down with Risk & Insurance® at the 2019 National Workers’ Compensation and Disability Conference® & Expo in November in Las Vegas.

The discussion touches on how the company has continued to evolve its approach to catastrophic care management and how that experience can be used to drive better outcomes overall.
