Kitchensync Insurance Services Broker Brett Lantz Recognized as a 2026 Entertainment, Hospitality & Gaming Power Broker
Brett Lantz, President, Kitchensync Insurance Services
The President of Kitchensych Insurance Services, Brett Lantz is deeply embedded in the insurance industry and has more than 200 restaurant clients.
He continually educates himself on industry initiatives through conversations with thought leaders, lawyers, HR professionals, and restaurant operators, and regularly meets with carrier partners to stay up to date on changes to underwriting guidelines.
Lantz recently launched an exclusive employment practices liability insurance program for restaurants, which offers access to an HR hotline and employment attorneys to help mitigate potential claims.
One client, a first-time business owner, said Lantz helped the company navigate potential claims and structured a comprehensive risk management plan for an 8-location restaurant group.
Another client noted he helped consolidate multiple entities, locations, and policies into a single plan that reduced annual costs by more than $100,000. This included helping increase some coverage at a lower cost, reducing workers’ compensation premiums by 37%, even with a $200,000 claim on the loss runs.
“My number one client service philosophy is to never let insurance get in the way of running your business,” Lantz wrote in his application. “Whether through claims handling, compliance issues, certificate issuance, or anything that gets in the way of not allowing my clients to successfully operate is paramount.”
