Coverage for professional liability risks is one of those areas where risk managers and buyers of insurance are experiencing a market the likes of which they may never have seen before.

Aon’s Kremena Vassileva worked tirelessly to overcome a situation in which a national nonprofit was facing pricing and coverage changes due to deteriorating market conditions.

Relying on deep underwriter relationships, she achieved an outcome that allowed the client to not only achieve significant premium pricing relief on the management liability program, but that also broadened the nonprofit’s portfolio of insurance products.

For a for-profit organization, Vassileva identified a gap in its D&O coverage that the company didn’t even know it had.

“Without her, we wouldn’t have even thought to look at it and may have found out when it was too late to do anything about it,” said the risk manager.

Sybil Hadley, senior counsel for the Boys & Girls Club of America, said Vassileva is an excellent listener who provides superior customer service.

“Kremena has been instrumental in creating a top-notch program for our company,” she said. “I have found the customer service to be exceptional and much needed as we transition from one program to another.”

“I had to reach out to Kremena on multiple occasions when we had questions about whether something was covered or not or whether we need to handle something in a different way,” she said.

“It was such a breath of fresh air working with her,” she said.
