Aon Broker Julia Fitzpatrick Recognized as a 2021 International Power Broker
Julia Fitzpatrick, SVP & Team Leader, Aon
For one large international client, Julia Fitzpatrick was instrumental in developing a multinational solution for its various manufacturing businesses located around western Europe and the United States.
Understanding the local marketplaces and coordinating with all the stakeholders was her first step, taking time to get to know the unique risks and country operations.
In the end, Fitzpatrick found savings within the new program structure of over $30,000 in premium. Her client was pleased with this solution.
“Julia got a great deal for [us] in a hard market by building and using relationships to find solutions you would never think exist,” they said.
For another client, Fitzpatrick started by educating the team around the importance of leveraging an umbrella line of coverage.
“[She] helped tremendously with liability umbrella placement, something I had not thought of before.”
Through a spot-check exercise of its current coverages, Fitzpatrick was able to save this same client 42% on its current term.
A third client introduced a new risk manager onto its team in 2020, and Fitzpatrick rose to the challenge of educating and working with the new risk manager to streamline coverage. By providing information and through frequent communication, Fitzpatrick was able to secure various cost-savings, including a 19% premium decrease in year over year costs.
