Aon’s Blake Giannisis has a variety of high-profile clients including the Walt Disney Company, Microsoft Corporation and Hearst Corporation, and all of them noted his exceptional customer service and creativity.
Many of these clients are carrying a variety of risks from those that occur on the set of a film shoot to those that are carried by amusement park rides at a theme park.
Marc Shea, senior risk manager with Microsoft, said Giannisis navigated an extremely difficult property insurance market to keep its coverage and pricing consistent.
“He was able to provide sensible alternatives to our program structure to mute the current market challenges while enabling us to purchase the coverage Microsoft needs to mitigate our significant exposures,” Shea explained.
Cynthia Kim, who started her position as vice president of risk management and insurance at Hearst just 22 months ago, echoed Shea’s comments about Giannisis’ market manipulation ability as she cleans up old claims and builds the company’s programs in a hardening market.
“He has that client advocacy in his heart,” she said.
