Yes, the National Workers’ Compensation and Disability Conference — National Comp — is going virtual!

The conference planners are eager to bring everyone together in person as soon as it’s safe and sensible to do so in 2021. But for 2020, there’s still plenty to look forward to this fall and throughout the year.

National Comp’s virtual conference program is designed to make it easier to maximize learning opportunities in a way that suits the busy schedules of workers’ comp professionals.

It will kick off with a free one-day virtual event to take place on Wednesday, October 21, 2020, featuring top-level thought leadership mixed with the practical takeaways organizations need right now.

After that, the conference will be keeping you connected to conference content via informative digital education sessions presented two or three times a month — right up until it’s time to meet up in Las Vegas for our 2021 event.

More details will be available soon about the October event via Risk & Insurance and through National Comp’s site. But here’s a peek at what National Comp has in store:

  • CEO panel led by Dave North, CEO of Sedgwick, with a look at where the industry stands in these uncertain times, and what the path forward could look like as we adapt to what comes next.
  • A Q&A panel featuring workers’ comp leaders with powerful stories about the challenges they’ve faced during the coronavirus pandemic — and what it takes to stay resilient.
  • An in-depth look at the impact mental health can have on physical health and injury recovery and how to ask the right questions.
  • Key legislative and regulatory trends to keep on your radar for 2021.
  • Insight from panelists across the career spectrum on the talent gap the industry is facing, and the best ways to recruit top talent and compete for talent against other sectors.

Details will be coming soon about the agenda, special features of our virtual experience, and opportunities to support our official conference charity, Kids Chance.

Register just once to access the free Oct. 21 virtual event and all of the digital sessions presented throughout 2020-21. Don’t miss an update — register now! &
