Brown & Riding appointed George Sella as National Construction Practice Leader and Jack O’Donnell as National Construction Professional Liability Practice Leader.

“George and Jack bring deep industry knowledge, proven leadership, and a clear understanding of what it takes to navigate today’s construction environment,” said Chris Brown, chairman. “Their appointments reflect the continued growth of our construction practice and our commitment to structuring the group in a way that best serves our clients.”

Sella joined Brown & Riding in 2010, earned the title of principal in 2015, and has served as the practice’s co-leader alongside Brown since 2025. In his new role, he will oversee the practice’s continued development, facilitate collaboration across disciplines, guide strategic growth, and foster talent.

O’Donnell joined the wholesale brokerage firm in 2017 and earned the title of principal in 2022. He will focus on advancing professional liability capabilities within the construction sector, working closely with retail partners and internal specialists to address increasingly complex risk profiles and contractual demands.

Brown & Riding’s National Construction Practice writes $750 million in annual premium and comprises more than 80 specialists nationwide. Brown will continue serving as chairman, focusing on strengthening specialization across the firm and advancing leadership development. &
