Saternus has a background spanning technical underwriting, relationship management, capital modeling, and technology deployment. In his new role, he will lead underwriting strategy, portfolio management, and capacity alignment for Coterie’s small commercial platform.

“Coterie has built a model for small commercial insurance that puts data, technology, and underwriting discipline to work for agents and small businesses,” said Saternus. “I am excited to join a team focused on making underwriting more precise, transparent, and scalable, while helping partners grow profitably and deliver coverage with speed and confidence.” &
