Andrew Hirsch fills in informational and coverage gaps that other brokers might never get to. “I had a recent example where there were some open items and he was able to work a miracle in getting things wrapped up and bind the policy,” said Cecelia Lockner, a partner with Goodwin Law. “It was extremely appreciated by me and the client.”

This year, Hirsch reported placing the largest upstream oil and gas reps and warranties (RWI) insurance program ever in the U.S. RWI market. The process involved securing capacity from more than 20 carriers. Many of the carriers had previously shown no appetite for the sector, which made the placement all the more impressive.

Hirsch negotiated broader coverage for the client’s environmental exposures. It offered them substantial protection for a risk that’s difficult to place. T

he reason he was able to secure such high-quality coverage? His strong market relationships. Hirsch really understands these markets and has deep relationships in the space — something his cleitns appreciate. His customer service is also strong. He’s easy to reach and is always willing to answer a client question — all the hallmarks of good service. When asked about his customer service, his client Lockner rates him 10 out of 10.
