Capital-intensive energy projects are often a heavy lift for brokers, especially when the client is not one of the majors that has the wherewithal for large retentions. The complications increase when lenders are heavily involved in project financing, requiring certificates of insurance at every instance. One client lender’s demand for certificates was causing delays, so Anna Huntley-Robertson developed a tailored format and protocol enabling the client to independently issue certificates of insurance through Marsh’s platform as needed.
“Anna was able to expertly monitor a complex property insurance market approach for us,” said the risk manager, “which helped us tremendously in its decision-making process aligned with our risk management objectives.”
Huntley-Robertson also has large clients, one of which had a major corporate reorganization. The client’s insurance manager gave her top marks for unwinding and reconfiguring coverage for the various parts of the organization. Huntley-Robertson revised the client’s property program and crafted a new tailored policy and undertook an extensive global marketing campaign to secure a competitive placement and pricing.
Volume discount took on a whole new meaning for another client. “We had three different facilities with three different policies,” said the director of finance. “Anna restructured the program and put all the facilities under one policy that achieved significant savings for us.”
