Robert Pritula sees it as his role not just to find insurance for clients but ensure they make smart, informed insurance and risk decisions.

He believes in presenting options while explaining alternative risk solutions that are paramount to ensuring they feel protected and have a say in their risk management programs.

“My strength lies in finding solutions to difficult scenarios and presenting options to clients. I work to answer their next question before they have to ask it,” he said.

Pritula has also been instrumental in educating Marsh staff and in finding coverage in hard markets like California, said Kimberly Connell, managing director and west zone leader of Marsh Private Client Services.

He not only negotiates terms and conditions to obtain new solutions but also puts together formal briefings to help clients and other industry professionals understand such markets.

“This isn’t even his role within our firm … He has really stepped out of his normal responsibilities to better serve our largest clients,” Connell said.

One controller for a high net worth family office said Pritula was able to assist in securing coverage for a family with a property in a high-risk, remote area of Mexico.

The family was previously told by several brokers that such political risk insurance was not available for their property.

“Robert and his team did not give up, found the coverage and got a quote for us. It was against all odds, and we had all given up on it,” said the office manager.
