Nicolai Shuman, COO of Uzurv, Inc. praised Rose for his skillful work understanding their business.

“He was able to place coverage with a telematics-based solution that aligns very closely with our internal value proposition and allowed us to leverage our experience and our expertise as a technology company to be able to see some insurance premium benefits in a really tough market,” Shuman explained.

“We bounce a lot of stuff off of him and we have some difficult contract requirements that we have to hit which are unique for a company of our size and he’s not difficult to get a hold of.”

Tom Santorelli was another happy Rose customer. Now retired, Santorelli previously served as a consulting risk manager for Fair Financial. Santorelli described Rose as “very innovative” and praised his style — to listen first.

Rose also devised a creative risk solution for TaskRabbit this year, transforming their general liability program to protect TaskRabbit from bodily injury and property damage claims that may arise from the work performed by independent contractor “taskers” while on the platform.

The policy contains a tiered rating system whereby tasks are priced based on how hazardous they are to perform.
