Marsh Broker Brian Anderson Recognized as a 2020 Finance Power Broker
Brian Anderson, Managing Director, Marsh
The financial sector’s deep pockets make it one of the top targets for cyber thieves, and the consequences of a breach can be quite severe.
One bank served by Brian Anderson and his team realized that its traditional approach of self-insuring the risk may be insufficient. It needed more robust protection.
Anderson was tasked with building a $300 million cyber liability tower in just 45 days while staying in budget and meeting specific coverage requirements.
He spearheaded the effort by pulling together a team of experts and maintaining an open line of communication between underwriters and his client. He ultimately got the tower in place under budget and ahead of schedule.
For the Capital Group Companies, Anderson helped to revamp its workers’ compensation roundtable, which is “one of the cornerstones of Capital Group’s commitment to our colleagues’ safety and good health,” said Chris White, vice president of global risk and insurance.
Anderson “has a strong grasp of Capital Group’s model, vision, strategy and risks, understands how critical risk management is to supporting the business, and collaborates with Capital Group to ensure risk management objectives are aligned and underpin the firm’s overall strategy,” White said.
Several clients praised Anderson’s ability to identify the best people for the job, no matter the task.
