CAC Specialty Broker Adam Lantrip Recognized as a 2022 Cyber Power Broker
Adam Lantrip, ARM, AAI, SVP, Professional & Cyber Solutions Practice Leader, CAC Specialty
Adam Lantrip’s clients appreciate his ability to think outside of the box and present new solutions, particularly in a hardening cyber market.
Two years ago, Lantrip launched and now leads the professional and cyber solutions practice at CAC Specialty.
The challenges in cyber only keep coming as represented by one client that approached Lantrip with a problem: How to insure the cyber risk for a portfolio of companies in different industries and spread across a dozen countries in North America and Europe?
Lantrip led a team that created a “cyber umbrella” insurance program for the companies, providing catastrophic coverage that would otherwise be unavailable to any one of the individual companies.
He says his philosophy is founded on a collaborative team-wide approach and delivering superior customer service and responsiveness to all clients.
“I stay in contact with my clients through the year — not just at renewal — advising on market trends, cyber incidents impacting the marketplace and on-going best practices,” he wrote in his Power Broker application.
One client who’s been pleased with Lantrip’s efforts is Anthony Avitabile, director, industry risk management for Major League Baseball.
“He placed our coverage under a bespoke/proprietary form that’s extremely broad and fairly simple — around 15 pages with only a handful of exclusions,” Avitabile said.
