When the National Museum of Wildlife Art of the United States wanted to host a preview event — bringing its works into downtown Jackson Hole as part of its annual fundraiser — broker Isabelle de St. Antoine made sure it had the coverage needed.

Museum staff needed to know what coverages they needed to protect the art while in transit and while it was offsite. de St. Antoine was able to quickly negotiate an insurance solution for no additional premium.

“She was able to work with us and make it possible for artwork to be covered in transit to an off-site location, for the duration of a special event, and then for its return to our primary museum facility,” said Madison Webb Stanko, chief marketing officer for the National Museum of Wildlife Art of the United States.

“She’s very knowledgeable and has been incredibly helpful through every step of the process.”

Another client, a private collector, needed to protect a piece of jewelry purchased online while it was in transit to him from overseas. de St. Antoine found a solution within 24 hours.

“It was a great relief,” the collector said. “I had a time deadline to return it, and I was getting panicked.”

Of course, fine arts and specie items need protection even when they’re not traveling.

“She really shows she cares,” a client said. “There was an earthquake [near the museum] once and she checked in. “She’s always calm even in instances where we’ve had a claim or an issue to talk through.”
