Many electric companies were left with huge gaps in liability coverage when two major mutuals reduced wildfire capacity.

Cynthia “Cindy” Fee knew exactly how to manage the situation.

“Cindy provided exceptional service this year to place wildfire coverage,” said one risk manager. “Cindy took the lead to completely restructure our excess liability program and fill the eight-figure gap in coverage by adding multiple London carriers in that layer. She also secured wildfire coverage with Bermuda carriers and got them to agree to attach at lower levels. She created a non-wildfire excess liability tower and a separate wildfire-only liability tower with sufficient limits.”

An insurance manager noted, “Cindy became my broker this year and not only helped navigate a change in carriers but identified numerous gaps in coverage and opportunities to reduce our exposure. What impressed me most was her exceptional knowledge of the insurance market and her ability to explain complex policies to both my management and executive leadership in a way that was easy for them to understand. Her background in law has also been instrumental in revising our master service agreement, which resulted in a substantial decrease in risk exposure.”

In 2024 “Cynthia helped me stay ahead of what is taking place in the casualty market, and strategies to navigate it,” a client said. “Prior to winning our business, Cynthia provided expert industry knowledge while navigating our casualty insurance policies renewals.”
