Gallagher Announces Leadership Changes to Public Sector Practice

Gallagher recently announced two leadership changes within its public sector practice.

Heidi Greene will serve as the executive director of Gallagher’s public sector & K-12 education practice, and Marcus Henthorn has been named managing director of sales, public sector & K-12 education practice.

In her new role, Greene will focus on managing large accounts primarily based in South Florida.

She brings over 30 years of industry experience to her new role with Gallagher and has been for the last 21 years working within Gallagher’s public sector.

As managing director of sales, Henthorn will be responsible for strategy development, data and technology analyzing and producer training.

Henthorn brings 13 years of industry experience to Gallagher and currently helps manage Gallagher’s public and nonprofit practice.

“The public sector represents a diverse group of industries including governmental entities, K-12 schools, pools, consortiums and captives that will continue to be key segments of Gallagher’s focus as they navigate challenges in the current marketplace,” said Dorothy Gjerdrum, senior managing director, public sector & K-12 education practice, Gallagher.

CLARA Analytics Names Chief Insurance and Science Officer

CLARA Analytics announced the hiring of Tom Warden as its chief insurance and science officer.

In his new role, Warden will be responsible for managing CLARA’s “scientific, technological and research operations,” a press release announcing the appointment said.

Additionally, Warden will also oversee CLARA’s product developments.

Warden brings great expertise in the artificial intelligence space to CLARA. He has provided AI solutions to several companies he previously worked for, including AIG, Allstate and Employers Insurance.

“Underwriting profitability and claims excellence are a focus for all carriers,” said CLARA CEO Heather Wilson. “Tom understands this and has demonstrated through his body of work that strategic applications of AI/ML can be game-changing,

“He is the ideal person to guide CLARA’s data science and insurance solutions efforts as we identify new ways to improve claim outcomes and underwriting results for our clients.”

myMatrixx Announces New Appointments

Dan Zucarri, account executive, myMatrixx

myMatrixx announced the hiring of Dan Zucarri as an account executive and Stacee Brown as a senior account executive.

In his role, Zucarri will be responsible for “overseeing strategic account management for the key account segment,” a press release announcing the appointment said.

Additionally, he will assist in PBM business and account support. He joins myMatrixx from One Call, where he served in sales and client services roles.

Prior to her hiring as senior account executive, Brown spent 19 years at Express Scripts.

She served in roles ranging from team leader of account managers to senior account executive in the commercial division, a role she held for the last five years.

Aon Adds on New Managing Director

Aon hired Adam Bixby as managing director, proactive security for cyber solutions, North America.

In his new role, Bixby is responsible for ensuring success within the proactive security practice as well as managing business development, people and operations.

Prior to his appointment, Bixby served as a co-practice leader of Aon’s cyber security testing team.

Kovrr Adds Kevin McCarty to Advisory Board

Kovrr announced Kevin McCarty has been named to its advisory board.

In his role on the advisory board, McCarty will provide both strategic and product guidance to Kovrr’s executive team while also ensuring the success of Kovrr’s enterprise cyber risk quantification solutions.

McCarty currently serves as the vice president of security, governance, risk and compliance for Marriott International.
