Carisk Partners Welcomes New Senior Vice President, Sales

In his new role, Wunderlich will implement strategies to drive revenue for Carisk Partners (formerly Concordia Care, Inc.), a specialty risk transfer, care coordination company. He will also be responsible for accelerating the growth of risk-transfer business through strategic planning and sales education.

Prior to joining Carisk, Wunderlich spent eight years at Paradigm Outcomes and was responsible for increasing revenue in the workers’ compensation complex care management business.

“Eric is an outstanding addition to the Carisk Partners team and brings an ability to establish relationships with key accounts that will continue to accelerate the growth of our risk-transfer business,” said Tom Downey, executive vice president, sales, Carisk.

RT Specialty Promotes Hannah Altomare to Senior Account Manager

Hannah Altomare has been promoted to senior account manager within RT Specialty’s National Environmental and Construction Professional Liability Practice (ECP).

“Hannah is a driven professional who has quickly demonstrated her value to our organization and clients,” said Tim Farrell, senior vice president of RT Specialty’s ECP.

“She has been extremely adept at sizing up renewals and helping brokers to both understand and executive plan strategies.”

In her new role, Altomare is responsible for supporting RT Specialty’s new business and marketing efforts in addition to providing brokers, agents and their customers with renewal and coverage information.

In addition to having a bachelor’s degree in business administration and an associate in claims and associate in risk management, Altomare is pursuing the chartered property casualty underwriter designation.

NJM Insurance Elects Joan Wainwright to Its Board of Directors

Joan Wainwright, TC Connectivity executive, recently was elected as the newest board member for NJM Insurance, a property and casualty insurer in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Wainwright serves as president of channel and customer experience at TE Connectivity.

In this role, Wainwright leads TE’s global channel business, which operates $2 billion in annual sales around the world.

Prior to joining TE Connectivity, Wainwright served as the vice president of public affairs at Merck & Co., Inc. and as the deputy commissioner of communications at the U.S. Social Security Administration.

“After an extensive search, it became apparent that Joan would be a great fit from an experience, expertise and, perhaps most important, a culture standpoint,” said Mitch Livingston, NJM president and CEO.

Wainwright earned an MBA from Temple University and a BA in Communications from the University of Delaware.

Peter Knowles Hired by the Fidelis Group Holdings

Peter Knowles has been hired as the senior vice president of West Coast operations at Fidelis Group Holdings.

Knowles will also be a senior underwriter within the group’s Brown Water Hull and Liabilities product lines in the Seattle, Wash. office.

Fidelis Group Holdings is a provider of primary, excess, ocean cargo and inland marine insurance. The company provides underwriting broker services, claims management and loss control assistance for its maritime clients.

“Peter’s extensive marine background and wide-ranging relationships along the West Coast marketplace will play an integral role in shaping the company’s future,” said H. Elder Brown Jr., chairman of Fidelis Group Holdings.

Knowles most recently was president of KALM Seas Insurance, Inc.

Chris McKechnie Named Chief Financial Officer at Relation Insurance Services

The role of chief financial officer at Relation Insurance Services was recently filled by Chris McKechnie, who brings more than 20 years of investment and operating experience in the insurance industry to his new role.

McKechnie most recently served as operating partner and advisor to several financial services-focused investors, including Aquiline Capital Partners.

Prior to this, McKechnie worked for more than 17 years with the Swiss Re Group, initially as part of the formation of Securitas Capital, LLC, a private equity fund focused on investments in the insurance industry.

McKechnie began his career as an investment banker with Smith Barney focusing on M&A and financing opportunities.

An insurance brokerage that offers risk management and benefits consulting services through its family of brands, Relation also recently announced the completion of its acquisition by Aquiline, a private equity firm investing in businesses across the financial service sector in banking and credit, insurance, investment management and financial technology and services.

Tammy Richardson Named UK & Ireland Leader for Willis Tower Watson’s Insurance Consulting and Technology Business

Tammy Richardson is now the UK and Ireland Leader for Life and P&C in Willis Tower Watson’s Insurance Consulting and Technology Business.

Richardson’s experience spans a range of senior leadership roles across P&L management, strategy, M&A, business development, finance and risk management.

Most recently Richardson served as leader of the UK P&C team for Willis Tower Watson’s Insurance Consulting and Technology Business, which has over 1,200 colleagues operating in 35 markets worldwide. Before joining Willis Towers Watson in 2012, Richardson was a senior vice president and managing director at Genworth Financial.

“I am excited to be taking on this new role at a time when the rate of change for the insurance industry is unlike anything we’ve seen before,” Richardson said. “This brings with it new challenges, but also many new opportunities — particularly in the space of artificial intelligence and automation.” &
