Kelley Kronenberg Announces Addition of Partner Sean Sullivan
Kelley Kronenberg announced the hiring of Sean Sullivan as a partner and head of the firm’s new office located in New Orleans.
The opening of the New Orleans office is the firm’s twelfth office, cementing their devotion to significant firm growth.
Sullivan is an experienced insurance defense counselor and litigator, with his practice focusing on first party insurance defense litigation.
“Kelley Kronenberg is focused on the organic and strategic expansion of business services to most readily meet client demand. We will continue to invest in key practice areas and sectors, as it fuels our ongoing growth and revenue, in addition to adding key talent,” said principal partner and chief executive officer, Michael J. Fichtel.
Ushur Hires Two Insurance Veterans
Ushur announced the hiring of Meredith Barnes-Cook as head of global insurance and Janeen Blanton as director of customer success.
Barnes-Cook brings 30 years of industry experience to her new role with Ushur.
Her past experiences include working in “business systems, operations and customer service.”
Her most recent role was working as an industry consultant in which she directly worked with insurers, software providers and investors.
Blanton brings 29 years of experience to Ushur. Beginning her career in IT, she most recently served as the head of Prisma Health’s IT service delivery.

Charles Taylor Announces Two Executive Promotions
Charles Taylor announced the promotion of two executives; Michael Guy is appointed managing director and regional head of Canada, and Dallas Hirsche is promoted as the provider’s deputy managing director and deputy regional head of Canada.
Guy has been working with Charles Taylor for the last 11 years, most recently serving as the vice president and branch manager of Charles Taylor Adjusting, a business of Charles Taylor.
Hirsche’s time with Charles Taylor spans 20 years.
Before his promotion, he served as senior vice president and Calgary office manager for Charles Taylor Adjusting.

Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty Announces Two Leadership Appointments
Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) appointed Maria Karina Suarez Rodriguez as chief actuary, and Christian Kortebein was appointed chief pricing actuary.
Suarez Rodriguez brings over 20 years of industry experience to her new role with ACGS.
Before joining the global carrier, she worked for AIG in a number of leadership roles; head of reserving for global specialty, head of reserving for property and specialty internationally and chief finance actuary.
Kortebein started working with Allianz in 2003 and has worked with ACGS since 2017. His most recent role was as the carrier’s chief actuary, the role now assumed by Suarez Rodriguez.
“With her deep and truly global knowledge of the actuarial side of insurance, Karina will be a great fit for our Finance team. With our drive towards technical excellence, both Karina and Christian will be key contributors supported by their teams in our transformation journey,” CFO Claire-Marie Coste-Lepoutre said. &
