Marsh Announces New Hire In Eddie Albers
Marsh hired Eddie Albers as head of the brokerage’s US life sciences practices. Albers will be responsible for overseeing company response to risk exposure.
With 20 years of industry experience, Albers joins Marsh after working as Aon’s life sciences group national director.
Commenting on Albers’ appointment, Marsh’s US and Canada growth and industry leader Jeffrey Alpaugh said, “Life sciences companies are facing a myriad of risks today from increased regulatory scrutiny to potential exposure to the opioid epidemic to the race to develop a COVID-19 vaccine. Eddie is a consummate client advocate whose extensive industry knowledge and experience make him the ideal person to lead this dynamic practice forward.”
JenCap Brings On Joel Troisi as Senior Vice President
JenCap, a specialty insurance business, hired Joel Troisi as senior vice president of national accounts property. In the role, Troisi will be responsible for the oversight of the national accounts and risk management property division.
Troisi brings 20 years of insurance experience to his new role with JenCap. His experience includes a 12 year stint with Beecher Carlson as its senior managing director of placement operations.

HOMELINK Announces Several Promotions
HOMELINK has made two new role changes within their leadership team. Mark Richmann is promoted to vice president of business development and Jill Fauver is transitioning to be the manager of operations for the accessibility modifications team.
Richmann joined HOMELINK 6 years ago when he began as leader of the accessibility team. Fauver previously worked as HOMELINK’s accessibility claims manager, which has been her role with the company for the last 5 years.

EPIC Announces Hire of Darren Renner as Senior Vice President
EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants hired Darren Renner as senior vice president of risk mitigation and claims. In his new role, Renner will be responsible for managing both risk mitigation and claims in several sectors.
For 25 years, Renner worked in the insurance litigation arena while also managing several complex settlements. His most recent role was with Keidel, Weldon & Cunningham where continued to practice insurance litigation.

Aon Brings on Sam Sylvester as Senior Property Broker
Aon announced the hiring of Sam Sylvester as senior property broker in the firm’s UK & Ireland specialty casualty team of reinsurance solutions.
Sylvester brings 20 years of experience to his new role with Aon. He most recently served as the head of property of treaty and D&F at Vibe Syndicate.
Commenting on Sylvester’s appointment, Catherine Turner, head of UK property for reinsurance solutions, said: “Sam brings a great skillset in underwriting and pricing expertise across many territories.
