Crawford & Company Announces Hiring of Robert Simpson 

Crawford & Company recently announced the hiring of Robert Simpson as president, Carrier Practices, Crawford Catastrophe Services U.S. In his new role, Simpson will oversee the division’s strategic direction, growth and operations.

Simpson first joined Crawford in 1990 as an entry level trainee adjuster and has since taken on several leadership roles, which include branch manager, supervisor and adjuster in charge.

His most recent role was serving as senior vice president, national claim operations.

“Robert is a highly successful claims operations leader with a clear understanding of our purpose and how to tackle the challenges associated with building a division. He will be instrumental in developing our new facilities and infrastructure in Allen, Texas,” said U.S. president of Crawford Claim, Ken Tolson.

“We are confident that under Robert’s leadership, we will continue to leverage technology and innovation to restore and enhance lives, businesses and communities following unexpected losses.”

TigerRisk Appoints New Partner and General Counsel

TigerRisk hired Daniel “Tad” Eldredge as partner and general counsel of the advising company.

Eldredge joins TigerRisk after serving as Aon’s chief counsel, corporate and Americas.

Additionally, he served on the global executive committee for Aon’s Reinsurance Solutions as well as “providing legal support and counsel to Aon Securities.”

“Mr. Eldredge is one of the insurance industry’s foremost legal practitioners,” said Rob Bredahl, president of TigerRisk.

“His wealth of knowledge and experience will be invaluable as TigerRisk continues to grow, innovate and deliver best-in-class client service.”

Tokio Marine North America Services Announces Executive Vice President

Tokio Marine North America Services has announced the promotion of Robert Pick to executive vice president.

Pick is expected to continue in his role as chief information officer, which he has held since 2016. He joined TMNAS in 2014 as the company’s chief technology officer. He also currently serves on several advisory boards.

“Bob has built, attracted and retained a talented leadership team and earned the confidence of Tokio Marine Group company leaders that TMNAS serves and global executives,” said John W. Glomb, incoming CEO of TMNA Services.

Pick also shared his hopes in his upcoming role: “The agility of our team helped us meet the rapidly accelerated demand for digital adoption globally when the pandemic hit. We will continue to tap into that formula of ingenuity, innovation, and service to help our Tokio Marine partners achieve their business goals.”

Allegiant Global Partners Announces New Team Member

Allegiant Global Partners Inc. hired Anne Brnger to head the new position of community outreach director.

In this role, Brnger will oversee the development and management of “outreach initiatives for Allegiant’s benefits, emergency assistance and property/casualty practices.”

Brnger brings more than 18 years of human resource experience in various sectors to her role with Allegiant.

Her leadership experiences including working in nonprofit, higher education and financial sectors.

Saint Joseph’s University Hires Storm Wilkins to Lead Maguire Academy of Insurance and Risk Management

Saint Joseph’s University announced the hiring of Storm Wilkins as executive director of the Maguire Academy of Insurance and Risk Management (MAIRM).

In her new role, Wilkins will work to strengthen the Academy’s programs while leading the initiative to diversify the insurance industry.

Wilkins is an both an experienced insurance professional and educator who most recently served as an assistant professor in the Risk, Insurance and Healthcare Management Department in the Fox School of Business at Temple University.

She has over 25 years working in the insurance industry.
