BKS Partners, a national insurance brokerage and risk management firm headquartered in Tampa, Florida, announced the appointments of Jennifer Berry and Frank Baker to partner.   

Berry joined BKS in 2006 as a founding colleague. She specializes in the luxury yacht market and works with individuals and families to design solutions for private risk management needs. 

Baker joined the firm as a founding member in 2006. He came aboard possessing knowledge of Tampa’s recreational maritime interests and experience that helped BKS build its maritime practice, including the consummation of a joint venture with Galati Marine, one of the nation’s leading boat dealers.

Corvus Insurance Appoints Kramer as VP of White Label Reinsurance

Corvus Insurance, a provider of smart commercial insurance products powered by AI-driven risk data, announced it has hired Sam Kramer as vice president of reinsurance. Kramer will lead a new team at the company focused on implementing embedded cyber reinsurance products. 

Kramer has experience in a range of roles across several parts of the insurance industry and adjacent industries, including at Zurich, AmTrust and at Houlihan Lokey.

Insurance Office of America Welcomes Jared Mongold to Its Growing Employee Benefits Team

Insurance Office of America (IOA) welcomed Jared Mongold to its expanding employee benefits team. Mongold joins the Melbourne, Florida branch office as an employee benefits specialist.

“We’re excited to have Jared join the employee benefits team at IOA. He understands the complexities of our industry. Jared recognizes and values the unique needs of each client and builds solutions around those specific needs,” said IOA employee benefits group president Christopher Labrecque.

Before joining IOA, Mongold was a senior benefits advisor at Brown & Brown of Florida.

He brings over seven years of insurance experience, advising middle market clients on group benefits and commercial insurance with a focus on the growing high-tech and construction industries.

Jopari Names Tom Turi Chief Sales and Marketing Officer

Jopari Solutions, Inc. a health care information technology corporation that supplies health care claim processing capabilities, attachment solutions and flexible medical payments products across many lines of health care business, has appointed Tom Turi to chief sales and marketing officer.

Most recently, Turi served as chief payer officer at The SSI Group.

He has 25 years of experience and is a nationally recognized speaker.
