Zurich North America Announces Key Appointments for Zurich Resilience Solutions

Zurich North America has announced several key leadership appointments within its Zurich Resilience Solutions (ZRS) business, effective immediately.
Jennifer Walker steps into the role of Head of Middle Market U.S., Jon Tate becomes Head of Core Risk Engineering, and Alexander Mirescu joins as Head of Extreme Weather. All three will report to Arooran “Aroo” Sivasubramaniam, Head of ZRS for North America.
“Jennifer, Jon and Alex each bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the ZRS leadership team that will help us enhance our solutions and position us to help customers understand, quantify and take action to manage risk,” Sivasubramaniam said.
Walker, based in Virginia, brings 35 years of risk management experience and most recently served as Regional Vice President for ZRS Property Services. In her new role, she will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of Middle Market strategies.
In his new role, Tate will lead the new Core Risk Engineering team. Based in Alabama, has more than 35 years in insurance and construction, previously serving as Vice President of Construction Risk Engineering and Climate Solutions.
Mirescu, based in New York, offers nearly 20 years of global experience in sustainability and climate resilience, with prior roles at Deloitte, the World Economic Forum, and the United Nations. In this role, he will “lead ZRS’ Extreme Weather team to build out risk reduction and resilient engineering solutions,” according to the press release. &
