Liberty Mutual Insurance promoted Matthew Moore to president of Global Risk Solutions, effective March 6, 2026. Moore, currently president of underwriting for Global Risk Solutions, succeeds Neeti Bhalla Johnson, who will conclude her role to pursue new opportunities.

“Matthew brings a breadth of experience, deep underwriting expertise and energy that will best serve the needs of our clients, brokers and partners,” said Liberty Mutual Chairman, President and CEO Tim Sweeney. “Neeti has been a transformational leader at Liberty Mutual,” said Sweeney. “We are grateful for her many contributions and wish her great success in her next endeavor.”

Moore has served Liberty Mutual for over 24 years in a series of executive positions in Global Specialty and Reinsurance. For the past four years, he led underwriting at GRS as president. He formerly chaired the London Market Group and held board positions with the Lloyd’s Members Association and Pool Reinsurance Company Limited. He also served as vice president of the Insurance Institute of London.

Bhalla Johnson will support a smooth transition and serve in an advisory role to the CEO until June 2026. &
