McGriff Insurance Services Broker Nicole Ziegler Recognized as a 2020 Employee Benefits Power Broker
Nicole Ziegler, Vice President, McGriff Insurance Services
When Nicole Ziegler took on Hamiser Group as a client, the multi-state employer was operating 22 different benefit programs, one for each of the EIN numbers in its organization.
Ziegler understood the company’s organizational objectives, which included consistency and equity among associates, reduced administrative complexity and economies of scale.
Ziegler helped ensure the company was consistently applying the mandated NY State Disability program, regardless of physical location.
“She helped me move from four vendors and five different carriers to one broker and one carrier,” said Sheri Zipp-Getz, benefits specialist with Hamiser. “She was very hands-on. She gave us a number of options … to help with our diverse work force.”
As an added benefit, with some of the cost savings, Hamiser was able to implement an online enrollment solution, eased HR’s administrative burden and enhanced the member experience, while demonstrating to employees the significant investment the employer was making in the employee benefit programs.
“We were amazed at the array of services Nicole was able to provide. And her service, knowledge and ideas for solutions to our issues were very helpful,” said another client.
“Nicole helped us transition and offer new services at competitive prices. She brought new ideas and solutions we didn’t know were available or existed.”
