Sarah Williams
Director, Group Captives
Hylant, Toledo, Ohio
Sarah Williams is driven by a commitment to mastering industry knowledge. Williams recently faced a significant challenge when a founding member of a group captive was forced to take on additional exposures imposed by its parent company.
Given that pricing in the standard market was either unavailable or prohibitively high, she facilitated strategic meetings with the insured and collaborated closely with the carrier partner and broker team.
She ultimately integrated these exposures into a captive insurance model that enabled the client to realize substantial cost savings and positioned them for long-term benefits through favorable performance.
Another client, the finance director for a holding company in Michigan, credited Williams as being instrumental in helping understand the details of an insurance captive and the roles and responsibilities as an executive board member.
Williams was extremely helpful and willing to spend a significant amount of one-on-one time to help him understand how the captive works.
“Sarah has a deep knowledge of captives and can apply that knowledge to best help our business. She has been a great resource in our workers’ comp, auto, and general liability insurance programs in the captive and has helped us structure our coverage to provide us with a cost-efficient insurance program,” he said.
