HUB International Broker Robert DeValle Recognized as a 2023 Employee Benefits Power Broker
Robert DeValle, Senior Vice President, HUB International
“Bob doesn’t just care about the commission. He cares about the mission.”
One of Robert DeValle’s clients is a nonprofit organization aimed at helping children. The charity faced significant financial challenges following pandemic-related shutdowns and other constraints. DeValle organized a fundraising effort aided by HUB to raise $125,000 for the organization to help keep it afloat during challenging times following COVID.
His client described the inspiring work DeValle has done for the organization: “As a nonprofit provider of direct services to children and families in the child welfare arena, Bob has helped us navigate complex legislative requirements, even to the extent that on several occasions he has brought in experts from other departments and even outside of HUB when needed to educate and enlighten me.”
Another client was searching for innovative ways to finance its health insurance program without sacrificing any benefits for its employees.
DeValle developed a unique health reimbursement program that allowed the employer to save $1 million by introducing an alternative financing arrangement. And because this solution required a more hands-on approach from its employees to be successful, DeValle also held multiple training sessions with customized materials in multiple languages and one-on-one meetings with employees.
