G2 Insurance Services Broker Lauren Erickson Recognized as a 2020 Nonprofit Power Broker
Lauren Erickson, Area Vice President, Nonprofit Practice, G2 Insurance Services
Every organization requires effective and intricate risk management, but working with children expands liability tenfold. There is no greater pressure than protecting a child, especially if they are not your own. Enter Lauren Erickson.
“We recently went through a renewal process. She knew the one thing we really wanted to do with our organization was incorporate water activities on field trips. She worked diligently to provide us with three new package options that would provide us with the necessary coverages we desired,” said Paul Rodriguez, national operations manager, College Track.
Erickson not only got College Track three competitive quotes that included water activities, but she also lowered its overall cost of coverage.
When Family House Inc., a nonprofit that provides temporary housing for families of children with life-threatening illnesses, was struggling with multiple vendors, Erickson helped level the playing field: “We were over-insured in some areas and under-insured in others. Lauren helped us consolidate under one vendor,” said CFO Jessica Creager.
Erickson was able to translate coverage to her customers in ways that explained the ‘what’ and the ‘why’ in the policies that she suggested.
“She looked at our very specific model and added cyber coverage and addressed weaknesses where we didn’t have liability protection. She explained areas that we … needed to think about,” said Dan Burke, executive director, First Tee of San Francisco.
