Aon Broker Julia Fitzpatrick Recognized as a 2022 International Power Broker
Julia Fitzpatrick, Senior Vice President, Senior Account Executive, Aon
Julia Fitzpatrick has been given some tough challenges and has more than lived up to them. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she developed a vendor program in Brazil for Henry Schein Inc., a worldwide distributor of medical and dental supplies.
Henry Schein needed coverage for its suppliers in Brazil, but the Brazilian market didn’t have the capacity or appetite for small- to medium-size manufacturers of dental products.
Fitzpatrick devised a solution that utilized Henry Schein Brazil as the named insured with the broad named insured wording and added its suppliers as additional insureds. She also helped develop a presentation for local insurance markets that included a list of suppliers, product categories and estimated annual revenue. She worked with Aon Brazil to scope out the underwriting appetite and organized a virtual presentation.
Her other tasks included putting together a comparison of the current coverage, benchmarking, identifying challenges, goals and objectives, as well as pricing and deductibles. She assisted in drafting a memo to the Henry Schein CFO who approved the program.
And she did all of this while the pandemic threw many obstacles her way, including team members getting sick.
Lisa Kerr, vice president of risk management at Henry Schein said Fitzpatrick stands out because she “always thinks creatively and comes up with a solution that fits our needs.”
