Aon Broker Josh Collier Recognized as a 2020 Technology Power Broker
Josh Collier, Associate Director, Aon
Josh Collier keeps his customer-facing strategy to the point: He explains the process up front and clearly lays out the steps necessary to reach client goals/objectives. Collier’s property claims are often described as “unplanned renovations.”
And while home renovations can be worked around, a thriving business can lose hundreds of thousands of dollars a day post-event.
Collier takes a lot of pride in assisting clients through very difficult circumstances. He constantly asks questions about the client’s business to ensure he’s as knowledgeable as possible.
In one example, a client sustained damage to various customers following Hurricane Harvey. Collier’s client was struggling to substantiate and trigger coverage due to the thousands of impacted customers.
With Collier’s help, the final carrier claims offer was more than double the initial one.
“Josh is a rock star,” said Rose Annese, director, risk management, Thermo Fisher Scientific. “In a world where customer consideration feels like a dying art, Josh is everything you want in a broker.”
“Josh is so good,” added Cynthia Kim, vice president, risk management and insurance, Hearst Corp. (and a former Power Broker® herself).
“When he came to our account, it was night and day. People think you need someone with a lot of years of experience to give you great advice, but I would put Josh in front of anyone, any day. He’s a difference maker.”
