Aon Broker Conor Cassin Recognized as a 2023 M&A Power Broker
Conor Cassin, Senior Vice President and Team Leader, Aon
When it comes to client service, Conor Cassin focuses on outreach — and results. Specifically, Cassin reaches out to clients to show he is prepared to “go to battle” alongside them anticipating the new
exposures or market restrictions that may emerge. Cassin also prides himself on being responsive and delivering results for his clients.
Recently, he’s seen an uptick in portfolio company bankruptcies and restructurings. One such company could not keep up with recurring operational costs and interest payments and had to file for federal bankruptcy protection.
It was up to Cassin and the Aon team to put an insurance plan in place. The result? By leveraging existing policy terms, Cassin and his team devised a creative solution to see the company through the bankruptcy process, allowing the board to remain intact and work through restructuring while protecting personal assets in the event of a claim.
“He is very proactive and understands market dynamics,” one of his clients said. “He successfully consolidated a panel of D&O insurers down to a few and worked out the best terms for our insurance renewal — basically, significant savings with expanded coverage.”
“Conor is exceptional in customer service,” the client added. “He articulates his messages very clearly and is easy to follow. He helped us understand the complexity of management liabilities. He is very responsive and dedicated to his work.”
