Alliant Insurance Services Broker Blake Cramsie Recognized as a 2022 Finance Power Broker
Blake Cramsie, Assistant Vice President, Account Executive Lead, Alliant Insurance Services
When working with a new client, Blake Cramsie does a tremendous amount of risk analysis upfront. From there, he charts out the necessary path to cover the risks.
In the case of a California-based insurance company, Cramsie was appointed as broker with less than a month before its renewal in 2021. His diligence revealed that rebuilding the entire program would be necessary, consolidating various policies that were overlapping.
In arguably the hardest insurance market in recent memory, Cramsie was able to obtain a 30% decrease on the renewal when every other carrier and broker was reporting 30-80% pricing increases in coverage — including the insurance company’s own broker who had prepared for a 20-30% pricing increase based on the experience the year prior.
“He’s invested many years in this industry…He is really a game changer since he was added to my account. His knowledge and experience over the years have benefited our executive risk insurance program,” Fay Andrews, director of corporate insurance for Freedom Mortgage emphasized.
“He helps challenge me to think of aspects outside of our current insurance programs.”
Andrews appreciates the extra effort Cramsie makes to tap into his past underwriting experiences and relationships providing additional insight that ultimately “[makes] things better for me in my job.”
