Lockton Insurance Brokers Names Sherri Harrison as Market Leader

Lockton Insurance Brokers announced the promotion of Sherri Harrison to market leader.

In this role, Harrison will be responsible for managing Lockton clients and growth and operations in Southern California.

Additionally, she will collaborate with other Lockton executives to build on the brokerage’s employee benefits presence in the area.

Bringing over 27 years of industry experience to her new role with Lockton, she most recently served as a Lockton senior vice president, where she worked on growth strategy and led a San Diego-based benefits team.

“In her brief two years, Sherri has made a significant impact in both markets with clients, producers and associates alike,” said Won Andersen, employee benefits practice leader for Lockton Pacific Series.

“Her servant leadership approach and growth mindset has unified our benefits operations in San Diego and Orange County with more alignment, collaboration and momentum as we emerge from the pandemic.

CAC Specialty Continues to Expand Its Natural Resources Division

CAC Specialty announced three additions to its natural resources division: both Bob Carleton and Amanda Lania as senior vice presidents and senior account executives and Cody Thompson as vice president and account executive.

All three appointments are within CAC Specialty’s power & renewables sectors.

Carleton joins CAC Specialty with an extensive background in risk management, particularly in the utility and renewable energy sectors. He most recently served as Beecher Carlson’s global energy practice’s vice president

Lania brings almost 20 years of industry experience to her role with CAC Specialty. Prior to her appointment, she also served as vice president of Beecher Carlson’s global energy practice.

Thompson brings 16 years of industry experience, specifically in P&C, to CAC Specialty. He most recently served as account executive for Beecher Carlson’s global energy practice.

Woodruff Sawyer Hires Southern California Practice Leader

Woodruff Sawyer named John Fuhrman as Southern California practice leader.

In this role, Fuhrman will be responsible for leading the Southern California operations, which include client service, talent recruitment and growth opportunities.

Fuhrman brings a wealth of industry experience to his new role with Woodruff Sawyer.

He most recently served as Marsh’s head of Pacific South partnership. Prior to Marsh, he worked as a managing partner with Willis Towers Watson, a role he served in for 10 years.

Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty Announces Two New Hires 

Allianz Global Corporate and Specialty (AGCS) appointed Robert Green as North American regional head of professional indemnity and Rick Hornby as regional product lead for financial institutions (FI).

In his role, Green will be responsible for the management of the underwriting, distribution and profit/loss for various accounts, which include lawyers professional liability and accountants professional liability.

Prior to his appointment, he served as an account underwriter for specialty lines for Allianz Insurance Plc.

In his role, Hornby will “oversee the distribution, management and marketing of AGCS FI products and services in the West, South and Midwest regions in the U.S.,” a press release announcing the appointments said.

He previously worked with AmWINS Brokerage and NFP Property & Casualty Services, Inc. in senior leadership positions.

“We are delighted to welcome these seasoned professionals to our financial lines business in North America,” said Joe Caruso, regional head of financial lines, North America, AGCS.
