Chubb Announces Mark Homan as Division President, International Property and Casualty, for Overseas General Insurance
Mark Homan has been appointed as division president, International Property and Casualty, for Overseas General Insurance at Chubb, effective June 1.
Currently serving as the chief operating officer for the division, Homan will oversee the company’s international commercial property and casualty insurance business, including various product lines such as property, casualty, professional lines, energy and marine.
Homan’s appointment follows the retirement of Timothy O’Donnell, who has been with the company for 20 years.
Homan brings three decades of insurance industry experience to his new role, having held management positions at various companies before joining Chubb in 2011.
CFC Appoints Michael Phillips as Cyber Practice Leader to Drive Underwriting Strategy and Broker Development in the U.S.
CFC has announced the appointment of Michael Phillips as its cyber practice leader.
In this newly created role based in New York, Phillips will be responsible for driving CFC’s cyber underwriting strategy and broker development in the United States, with a specific focus on its admitted cyber product.
Phillips brings nearly a decade of experience in the specialty insurance market — having held senior positions at Resilience, Allianz Global and Beazley — as well as a background in law and public policy.
Alexandra Heinz Joins Goldberg Segalla’s Workers’ Compensation Practice Group
Goldberg Segalla has welcomed Alexandra Heinz to its workers’ compensation practice group in Buffalo. Heinz previously worked at Tully Rinckey in Buffalo before joining Goldberg Segalla.
With a focus on counseling and defending employers, insurers and third-party administrators in workers’ compensation cases, Heinz brings valuable expertise to her new role.
Heinz’s previous experience representing plaintiffs in workers’ compensation matters equips her with litigation and negotiation skills that benefit her clients today. Additionally, she possesses knowledge in federal and New York State labor and employment law.
MedRisk CEO Danielle Lisenbey Retires; Office of the Chair Led by Mike Ryan Announced for Interim Leadership
MedRisk has announced the retirement of chief executive officer Danielle Lisenbey. To ensure a smooth transition, an Office of the Chair has been established; Mike Ryan, the executive chairman and former CEO, heads the interim leadership team.
During Lisenbey’s tenure, she successfully navigated the challenges posed by the pandemic and implemented operational efficiencies and talent acquisition strategies. The company expresses gratitude for her service and wishes her the best in her retirement.
As one of its first decisions, the Office of the Chair has promoted Sri Sridharan to the position of president of MedRisk. Sridharan brings extensive experience in workers’ compensation claims and data analytics, having held executive leadership roles at major insurance organizations, including Marsh. He joined MedRisk as chief client officer in 2022.
The Office of the Chair will include additional members such as chief financial officer Tom Weir and chief client officer Jamie Davis-Motsinger, who transitions from the role of chief sales officer. Together, they will oversee strategic planning and work closely with stakeholders.
Lodestone Security Hires New CEO
Lodestone Security LLC, a global cybersecurity firm and subsidiary of Beazley, has appointed Alton Kizziah as its new chief executive officer, effective May 1, 2023.
Kizziah will focus on establishing Lodestone as a preferred choice for cyber incident preparedness and response, fostering deeper engagement with existing Beazley clients and driving industry innovation.
With 22 years of experience in information security and leadership roles, Kizziah brings a wealth of expertise to his new position; he previously served as executive vice president and general manager at MGT Consulting Group.

Adrian Hall, currently head of Canada at Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, will be transitioning to a new role as head of UK, Ireland, South Africa and EMEA Wholesale, effective September 1, 2023. He will succeed Melanie Slack, who will be retiring from Swiss Re.
With nearly 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, Hall has held senior leadership positions in various regions around the world. He joined Swiss Re Corporate Solutions in 2017 as head of Canada and has played a crucial role in leading the Canadian business. &
