IMS Announces Appointment of Ben Dailey as Senior Vice President

Ben Dailey, senior vice president, sales and business development, IMS

IMS (Insurance & Mobility Solutions) hired Ben Dailey as senior vice president of sales and business development, North America.

In this role, Dailey will focus on attracting new customers, opportunities and partners to IMS while searching for customer experience gains through multiple avenues.

Dailey brings over 20 years of sales and sales leadership experience to his new role with IMS.

Having previously worked with IMS, Dailey rejoins the company after serving as the vice president of enterprise sales at Metromile.

“Ben has the insurance software and telematics experience, along with the commitment and dedication insurance customers seek when embarking on their digital transformation journeys,” said Nino Tarantino, CEO of IMS-Americas.

TruSight Adds John Shay to Board of Directors

TruSight recently announced the addition of John Shay to the risk management platform’s Board of Directors.

In this role, Shay will work alongside a group of financial industry executives who have served on TruSight’s Board since its founding in 2017.

Shay brings executive leader experience to his new role with TruSight. Shay currently serves as the chairman of AcadiaSoft, managing partner at Capital MarketServices, Inc. and senior advisor at Virtu Financial. He has previously served in roles within the U.S. Treasury and Bank of England.

“We are pleased to welcome John to the TruSight Board of Directors,” said TruSight CEO Jonathan Pressman.

“His experience and expertise in regulatory issues, combined with his industry knowledge and connections, will be a tremendous asset to TruSight as we enter the next phase of our growth and expansion.”

Lisa Duncan, executive vice president, Risk Placement Services

Risk Placement Services Hires Lisa Duncan as Executive Vice President

Risk Placement Services (RPS) announced the hiring of Lisa C. Duncan as executive vice president, a role in which she will be focusing on the firm’s brokerage property sector.

In this role, Duncan will manage and facilitate engagement between RPS and complex property placements both in the Northeast and beyond.

Additionally, Duncan will weigh in on “accounts that have larger schedules of values and various catastrophic exposures.”

Duncan brings over 13 years of property broking experience, including regional risk management.

Prior to joining to RPS, she served as the national property leader for Aon’s private equity middle market broking unit.

Resilience Announces Three New Appointments

Mike Shannon, assistant vice president of underwriting, Resilience

Kevin McGowan, vice president of underwriting, Resilience

Resilience announced the appointments of three individuals: Mehvish Femia was hired in a new role as general counsel; Kevin McGowan was appointed vice president of the company’s underwriting team; and Mike Shannon was hired as assistant vice president of underwriting.

In her new role, Femia will be responsible for maintaining current relationships with insurance organizations and supporting both regulatory and insurance compliance requirements and the full range of insurance operations. She most recently served as the acting general counsel at Digital Partners.

Raj Shah, chairman of Resilience, commented on Femia’s appointment: “Mehvish brings extensive industry experience and builds on our leadership across insurance, security, and data science. Her team orientation is an ideal fit for our culture and will accelerate our mission of solving cyber risk through an innovative approach to security and risk transfer.”

McGowan joins the Resilience underwriting team after serving as Beazley’s co-chair of global cyber and tech large risk group. Prior to his new role with Resilience, Shannon worked with AXA XL as a senior underwriter in the cyber and technology E&O practice.
