Mosaic Announces Two New Appointments to London Underwriting Team 

Mosaic recently announced the appointment of Anna Jay and Christopher Webb to its London underwriting team.

Anna Jay,senior vice president, head of professional liability, Mosaic

Christopher Webb,senior vice president, underwriter of financial institutions, Mosaic

Jay’s new role with Mosaic will be as senior vice president, head of professional liability. She brings almost 20 years of industry experience to Mosaic. She most recently served as the divisional director of professional lines for Pembroke Syndicate 4000 at Lloyd’s.

Webb joins Mosaic as senior vice president, underwriter of financial institutions.

He brings nearly 40 years of experience, both as a placing broker and an underwriter, to Mosaic. Prior to his appointment, he served as a senior underwriter for Syndicate 4000.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Anna and Chris to Mosaic as we continue building our teams with the very best underwriting talent in the business,” said Mosaic Co-CEO Mitch Blaser. “Their deep experience and market knowledge will be invaluable as we prepare to launch these respective specialty lines in the next few weeks.”

Dr. Kenji Saito, medical advisory board, Ametros

Ametros Hires Doctor to Medical Advisory Council

Ametros named Dr. Kenji Saito to its medical advisory council.

The purpose of Ametros’ medical advisory council is to “support Ametros’ members on a variety of medical and wellness matters through articles and webinars,” a press release announcing the appointment said.

Dr. Saito brings over 10 years of clinical experience to his new appointment with Ametros. He currently works as the head of MedLawPractice.com based in Maine.

“Kenji brings a highly diverse set of skills and experience to the council,” said CEO Porter Leslie. “We are excited to tap into his expertise on behalf of our members.”

The Plexus Groupe Names Vice President of Business Development

John Stollenwerck, vice president of business development, The Plexus Groupe

The Plexus Groupe recently announced the hiring of John Stollenwerck as vice president of business development.

In this role, Stollenwerck will be responsible for both assisting The Plexus Groupe’s continued growth trajectory while also working to add to its benefits practice.

Stollenwerck brings over 20 years of relevant industry experience to The Plexus Group. He joins from brokerage Ragland Strother & Lafitte where he was named a partner in 2015.

“John’s hands-on business experience and in-depth work with clients allows him to understand the functional and operational risk issue companies face every day,” said Brian Morgan, president and chief growth & strategy officer at The Plexus Groupe. “We’re excited to continue to grow and innovate with the addition of John to our team.”

Katie Shak to Join Lockton Pacific as Producer 

Lockton Pacific hired Katie Shak as a producer.

In this role, Shak will work to “grow and accelerate its [Lockton’s] commercial insurance presence in San Diego,” a press release announcing the appointment said. Additionally, she will work with clients to provide optimal risk management solutions.

Prior to her appointment, Shak worked for USI Insurance as a risk consultant.
