Danielle Lisenbey Named MedRisk President
MedRisk hired Danielle Lisenbey as its new company president. Beginning in November, Lisenbey will be responsible for day-to-day operation oversight as well as new business initiatives.
Lisenbey has over 27 years of experience in the workers’ comp and disability space. Prior to joining MedRisk, she worked for Crawford & Company, where she was the first female to serve on its global executive team.
In addition, Lisenbey is a member on the executive board of the Alliance of Women in Workers’ Compensation and is active within the National Association of Women’s Executives.
“I’ve known Danielle for many years and have seen her extraordinary leadership skills first-hand,” commented Ken Martino, CEO of MedRisk. “Her dedication to continuous operational improvement and her deep understanding of the industry will help propel MedRisk’s continued growth.”
Vermont Department of Economic Development Appoints New Hire
The state of Vermont’s Department of Economic Development hired Brittany Nevins as the captive insurance economic development director. In this role, Nevins will head the marketing and business development of the state’s captive insurance industry.
Nevins brings an extensive amount of economic development knowledge to her new role.
Prior to joining Vermont’s DED, Nevins served as the community and economic development specialist for Travis County, Texas.
“Vermont has become an international leader in the captive insurance industry and we must work to continue to grow this industry in the state,” said DED commissioner Joan Goldstein.
“Maintaining a strong marketing and business development focus on this important sector is crucial and we are glad that Brittany has joined the team to continue our success in this area.”
NJM Insurance Brings on Robin Mungo to Lead Teen Driver Safety Program
NJM Insurance Group hired Robin Mungo to expand the group’s Teen Driver Safety Program, the goal of which is to promote driver safety measures to both parents and teens. In her new role, Mungo will focus on building the program and its safety efforts in the Western Pennsylvania region.
Before joining NJM Insurance, Mungo worked for 25 years with the Pennsylvania State Police Department. She served in various roles within the department, including patrol officer, criminal investigator, public information officer and recruiter. She also has experience working as a state driving instructor and as a diversity team trainer.
“As NJM expands into new markets, we are fortunate to partner with experienced safety professionals and organizations that allow our Teen Driver Safety initiatives to contribute to a culture of safety,” said Tracy McManimon, NJM senior vice president and chief underwriting officer.

Swiss Re Announces Several New Hires
Swiss Re Corporate Solutions hired three new executives to its financial and professional services underwriting team. Laura Coppola, Kristyn Smallcombe, and Paul Rodriguez have joined Swiss Re to help grow the company’s financial and professional liability business.
Coppola will act as global head of FinPro. She joined Swiss Re in January of this year as head casualty and FinPro, North America. She brings with her 25 years of industry experience.
Smallcombe steps into the role of global head of construction, PI & GL. In addition to this new role, she will remain in her current position as head of construction, PI & GL, North America, which she has served in since 2018. Prior to joining Swiss Re, Smallcombe served in several leadership positions with a large corporate insurer.
Rodriguez was appointed global head of executive risk while still maintaining his role as head of executive risks, North America. He has many years of management and underwriting experience.

Oneglobal Brings on Duncan Urguhart as Executive Director
Oneglobal hired Duncan Urguhart as the broker’s new executive director. He will also serve on the broker’s global executive committee.
Urguhart brings over 30 years of wide-range insurance experience with him to Oneglobal.
Before joining Oneglobal, he served as head of property, casualty, energy and construction with RFIB Group Limited.

Paradigm Announces Hire of Don Munkwitz
Paradigm has hired Don Munkwitz as senior vice president of strategy and execution for Paradigm’s Catastrophic Care Management.
Munkwitz brings over 25 years of industry experience to his new role with Paradigm. Before taking on this new role, he served as chief of staff for Paradigm’s Catastrophic Care Management.
Prior to working with Paradigm, he worked with Canon Global as a principal consultant.

Ryan Specialty Group Appoints Several New Hires
Ryan Specialty Group, LLC (RSG) announces the hiring of Mike Rice, Nick Cortezi and Matt Nichols.
Rice is appointed as senior chairman of RSG Underwriting Managers. Prior to this role, he served as the head of the underwriting managers team. He intends to retire at the end of the year.
Cortezi is hired as RSG’s chairman and CEO of the group’s underwriting managers. He joined RSG after the group merged with All Risks in recent months.
Nichols joins as president of RSG underwriting managers. Like Cortezi, he joined RSG with the All Risk merger. Together, both have extensive experience in the underwriting industry and have collectively created over 30 programs within All Risk.

Alliant Brings on Brennan Parker in Executive Role
Alliant hired Brennan Parker to expand its presence in the Northeast region. Parker joins as senior vice president, in which he will create innovative insurance solutions to directly assist clients in the Northeast area.
Parker brings 20 years of experience to his role with Alliant, specifically within casualty insurance, employee benefits and strategic planning. Prior to joining Alliant, he served as senior vice president and board member of a private insurance company in New York.

Aon Hires Sue Lee as Corporate Finance Director
Aon, a global professional services firm, announces the hiring of Sue Lee as their new director of corporate finance within the firm’s reinsurance solutions capital advisory team.
Lee joins Aon after working with Athene Holding as their investor relations director.
Kelly Superczynski, head of Americas capital advisory for Aon’s Reinsurance Solutions business, shared her thoughts on the appointment, “Sue’s experience of nearly a decade across investment banking, equity research and investor relations has afforded her a great combination of skills and capabilities that she now brings to Aon to further enhance the value we are able to bring to our life clients, while at the same time driving the expansion of our capital advisory offering.”
Ametros Appoints Nicole Chappelle As New Vice President
Ametros hired Nicole Chappelle as vice president of settlement solutions. In this role, Chappelle will be leading strategy for both comprehensive and innovative settlement actions.
Chappelle brings over 28 years of experience within workers’ compensation. Prior to her role with Ametros, she worked as claims auditor claims central audit for AmTrust Financial Services.
