Jen Kyung Appointed to Lead Property and Casualty Business Performance Office at Nationwide

Nationwide has appointed Jen Kyung, a veteran of the insurance industry, to lead its new Property and Casualty Business Performance Office. Kyung will be responsible for optimizing the business’s capabilities, standards, and performance across Nationwide’s P&C organization.

Kyung brings over 25 years of experience to the role, having held leadership positions at USAA, Ernst & Young, Zurich Insurance, and Accenture. Her expertise lies in underwriting strategy and innovation, business transformations, strategic initiatives, and P&C underwriting operations in Commercial and Personal Lines.

Kyung, who served as the chair of the Insurance Information Institute’s Executive Leadership Committee from 2020 to 2024 and was recognized as one of Reuters’ Trailblazing Women in Insurance in 2024, will begin her new role on April 21, 2025. &
