Each year Enlyte releases its annual drug trends series to analyze the state of pharmacy trends in workers' comp. In part one of our 2023 series, we’re evaluating retail and mail order prescriptions.

As employees head back into the office, we’re seeing work comp claim counts beginning to normalize with pharmacy trends following suit. Last year retail and mail order channels continued to see positive results through pharmacy program management. However, in-network prescription costs increased with 8 of the top therapeutic classes experiencing increased utilization per claim.
