Elizabeth Neumann Named Executive Vice President, Financial Lines Claims Leader at Howden

Global insurance broker Howden appointed Elizabeth Neumann as executive vice president, Financial Lines Claims Leader. Based in New York, Neumann will join the US Financial Lines management team, led by Ron Borys, as the company continues to build its national practice.

“Elizabeth has been a rising talent in the Financial Lines space for the last 10 years of her career,” said Ron Borys, Head of Financial Lines, Howden US. “Claims advocacy and recovery is the backbone of a successful Financial Lines brokerage business in the US, and Elizabeth is the ideal person to work alongside me and the other talented leaders we have recruited to date to build a best-in-class claims organization.”

Neumann joins Howden from CAC Specialty, where she spent two years as its US Financial Lines Legal & Claims Practice Leader, responsible for claims operations and client advocacy. Before transitioning to brokerage, she worked as a senior claims attorney for AXIS Insurance Company and CNA Insurance. Neumann will join Howden after completing her contractual obligations. &
