Risk Strategies Broker Peter Rosky Recognized as a 2024 Nonprofit Power Broker
Peter Rosky, SVP, Market Leader, Risk Strategies
For many nonprofit organizations, much of the revenue they accrue goes directly to the communities and missions they serve. This leaves little room for increased internal costs for these entities, especially when those costs are unexpected and arrive out of the blue.
When a client of Peter Rosky of Risk Strategies was hit with a 24% premium increase on its employee health benefit coverage, he and his team were brought in to provide a second opinion on the proposed renewal.
He worked diligently to evaluate the organization’s financial capabilities, then went to the market to find a coverage solution.
In the end, Rosky and his team were able to deliver two market level-funded proposals, one which included a $6,000 deductible for the organization.
The organization was ultimately able to achieve 36% cost savings.
When a well-known partner of one of Rosky’s clients filed for bankruptcy, he was there to assist in any way he could.
“They [were there] every step of the way to help us measure our costs, make informed decisions, and help us transition to another carrier, because [the bankruptcy] really strapped a lot of organizations partnered with this pool,” the client said.
“They are actively engaged all year round — they do more than just provide information at renewals,” another client noted.
