Marsh Broker Olivia Bachelet Recognized as a 2025 Renewable Energy Power Broker
Olivia Bachelet, Vice President, Marsh
Broker Olivia Bachelet played a critical role in helping a company that completed several acquisitions secure the insurance they needed.
“Closing dates were spread across 2024 and subject to change, based on regulatory approvals. It was a moving target. Despite the uncertainty and several timeline accelerations, Olivia [Bachelet] was able to secure sufficient capacity to fill a challenging general liability placement for the new assets,” said the company’s insurance manager.
All of that happened under tight timelines and in addition to the ongoing renewal of the client’s existing consolidated insurance programs.
In 2024, Bachelet helped one client manage an unexpected challenge associated with retention levels during its casualty insurance renewal: “Going into the renewal, we expected three of our retentions to increase, but during the process, we were surprised when one of the proposed increases was far greater than expected. Avoiding that increase required an aggressive marketing exercise,” the risk manager said.
“The results Olivia ultimately secured entailed only one retention increase, and that increase was what we expected.”
One client praised Bachelet’s handing of their excess casualty program.
“She’s a truly competent performer who gets things done with minimal disruption and few touch points,” the client said.
