One risk manager credited Kevin Stone with “exceptional service including multi-million dollars in premium savings, and access to much better coverage and limits.”

One particular placement “was done under pressure. It was a project we had not planned to implement yet, but had to. Kevin put it together under a very tight timeline.”

For another client, Stone was able to establish that although that client had a sevenfigure transit limit, about 85% of its transits were valued at six figures or smaller.

“However the premium we were being charged did not appear to take this important issue into account,” said the risk manager.

“Even with an existing adjustable transit rate that was unusually high, Kevin was able to show to the insurers that we were being charged premium on transit values that we would never be able to make a claim on.

“Furthermore, Kevin delivered deductible options on stock by as much as 97.5% with limited impact to our premium,” the risk manager continued. For shipment values in excess of $1 million, “Kevin was successful in reducing our deductible by 90%, all of this with a reduction in our transit rates of about 61% overall,” said the risk manager.

“All these improvements that Kevin implemented for us will make our stock/storage policy more user friendly and enable us to improve our revenue margins.”
